Original artwork is encased in bubble wrap and placed inside a custom cardboard box. Substantial padding is added around the cardboard box which is then placed inside a custom reinforced with wood box or a hardboard crate.
All Gift Item prints are placed inside an acid-free polypropylene sleeve (see Handle and Care) shipped in flat boxes with an acid-free backing board. Canvas prints are rolled and shipped in heavy-duty shipping tubes unless you what them stretched, they will be shipped flat in boxes.

  • Return Policy

    DAMAGED MERCHANDISE RETURNS
Each item is thoroughly examined and carefully packed in high quality materials. Every shipment is insured, and the carrier assumes responsibility for its safe arrival. Should you receive your artwork in a damaged condition, apparent or concealed, you must save the merchandise (including invoice & any certificates), the original box, and ALL packing materials for inspection by the shipping carrier. Please contact us within 24 hours by email or phone (505)598-6978 for return authorization and insurance claim processing instructions. As necessary, we will replace the damaged artwork or issue a full refund.
Apparent Loss or Damage could be visible from the condition of the package. If the package is damaged, you must note it with the shipping carrier, or they may refuse to honor the insurance claim should the enclosed artwork also be damaged. If damage to the package is extensive, you may refuse acceptance of the package. Concealed Damage is very rare but would not be apparent until the artwork is unpacked, then a claim for concealed damage is entered. As noted above, you must save all packing materials and notify us immediately to gain insured compensation.

  • Care & Handling

Like all fine artwork, Gift Item Giclée prints are fragile and should remain in the protective bag until framed. They can be damaged by fingerprints, scuffing or scratching the surface, humidity, and creasing of the paper by improper handling.
Rolled prints should never be forced into a flat position but should be allowed to relax naturally on a flat, clean surface which is best done by a professional frame shop. Do not counter-roll or squeeze the print as it may cause a permanent crease in the paper.
Artwork should never be displayed in direct sunlight. If sunlight enters a room through a window or skylight, illuminating a wall where a painting is hung, even for a short period of time, the artwork runs the risk of significant fading. Even UV rated glass or acrylic will not provide adequate protection for exposing any artwork to direct sunlight.
Always store or hang your artwork in a warm, dry atmosphere and away from heaters. Fine artwork should never be stored or displayed in humid environments such as an unheated garage, bathroom, or laundry room.
When cleaning the glass on your framed artwork, spray the glass cleaner into a soft rag and never directly onto the glass as it can run down and seep between the frame and glass, migrating up onto the matting or print, causing permanent discoloration.

  • What is a Limited Edition Print

A limited edition print is a high quality reproduction of an original work of art that are individually numbered followed by the number of total reproductions, such as 5/90, which is the fifth print of ninety total prints. Once the last print is printed, for example 90/90, no additional prints of this edition can be produced. All of my limited edition prints come with a Certificate of Authenticity which fully describes the print and all edition image sizes that have been produced from the original painting.

  • What is a Certificate of Authenticity?

Enclosed with every print you purchase, the Certificate of Authenticity fully certifies and describes the print edition produced from the original painting. Each certificate is hand-numbered and signed by the artist. Your Certificate of Authenticity is a valuable part of your purchase and should be filed with your other important papers.
The Certificate of Authenticity gives the artist the opportunity to distinguish a limited edition print from what would be presented as an "open" print, reproduction, or poster. It also details the various printing factors: if multiple edition image sizes were produced and in what number, the total number of all reproductions produced including the artist proofs, and certifies that each print has been personally inspected, signed, and numbered by the artist.
